She is born of Indian origin and was born in Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her marriage last name Mankad. However, she uses both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar as her professional names. The acting career of her began in early 2000 with small roles on TV and films. Some of her most notable roles include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She has also been featured in commercials of major brands like international car manufacturer Volvo. The actress lives within Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She will continue to pursue an acting career.
